A heart for embryo adoption.

That’s what you get to peer into when you talk to Dale Collins, who helped found the National Embryo Donation Center more than a decade and a half ago. Dale was serving as Baptist Health System of East Tennessee President and CEO at the time. His decision to provide space for the NEDC at Baptist Health gave the organization the final piece it needed to officially come into existence.

Dale went on to become a founding member of the NEDC Board of Directors and was its chairman for three years. In this brief interview with the NEDC’s Mark Mellinger (below), Dale talks about why embryo adoption is so meaningful and the place it holds in the heart of each member of the NEDC Board of Directors.

As he steps down after a long record of faithful service, we want to thank Dale for all his support and his instrumental role in forming the NEDC. Hundreds of couples have seen their dreams of parenthood come true because of Dale’s leadership!
